Datapacks will give players the opportunity to take a fresh look at the world of Minecraft by modifying their datapack. Datapacks are used for new upgrades, recipes, different biomes, structures without making any changes to the game code.
For packages to work, you need to place them at .minecraft/saves/(World Name)/datapacks. Each pack will either be a subfolder or a .zip file. Once you have added the datapack to the folder, the package will work in the Minecraft world.
